Delivery-day inspection

Draft

The first inspection to do when your Onyx arrives: lights, wheels, 32 psi tires, brakes, charge, and torque checks.

The manual’s pre-ride check is also the right first inspection. Do it with the bike on its stand.

  1. Check headlight and tail light.
  2. Spin both wheels. They should turn smooth and straight.
  3. Set tire pressure to 32 psi front and rear.
  4. Test both brakes. Front is the right lever, rear is the left lever.
  5. Check battery charge.
  6. Check and torque the fork, axle, handlebar, and suspension nuts to the table in Maintenance schedule.

Your bike ships with the battery in storage mode and needs roughly 50% more charge before riding. Charge it fully first.
